Kutz City presents TheXperience Hair & Fashion Showcase

June 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Christopher Mukes owner of Kutz City is dedicated to providing quality services to exclusively fit the needs of each client. The goal of TheXperience is to create unique
encounters amongst our guest connecting the hair and fashion world and
creating extraordinary memories of transcendent experiences.

The Kasanova of Comedy Billy Sorrells will host of this don't miss event! The purpose of this Kutz City sponsored event is to benefit the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Cancer Hospital, specifically providing a new look and hair coverings for children that have lost their hair due to their battle with cancer.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (2008), in the United States,
cancer is the second most common cause of death among children
between the ages of 1 and 14 years, surpassed only by accidents. More
than 16 out of every 100,000 children and teens in the U.S. were
diagnosed with cancer, and nearly 3 of every 100,000 died from the
disease.

Participants of this event including barbers, hair stylists, and fashion
designers, would be teamed together to showcase their skills in the
dynamic art of hair & fashion. Each team would design a look of one or
more themes of the past, present, and/or future. This would give each
participant the opportunity to display their best work while creating
memories & networking opportunities for all attendees. Participation in
this event not only displays true dedication to the hair & fashion industry,
but shows the level of creativity each person posses that will positively
impact a child fighting their battle with cancer.
