Lennar Hosts Biggest Tailgate Party the Triangle Has Ever Seen, Celebrates Inside Wade Grand Opening

Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- To celebrate the grand opening of its much anticipated Inside Wade community and its premier location just outside the beltline near Carter-Finley Stadium and the RBC Center, Lennar is hosting the biggest tailgate party ever.  The first of the two-part tailgating extravaganza will be on Saturday, Nov. 5, prior to the N.C. State versus UNC football game.  The second party will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, before the Carolina Hurricanes hockey game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Taking place at Inside Wade on Wade Park Boulevard near the intersection of Edwards Mill and Trinity roads, both tailgating parties will feature all the necessary fare – hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, beverages and more – as well as tailgating activities like corn hole and face painting.  Perhaps even better than the excitement of these activities is the free parking that will be available for event participants at Inside Wade, within easy walking distance to Carter-Finley Stadium and the RBC Center.  Visitors should note that parking on game days is limited and will be allowed on a first-come,
first-serve basis.  

On Saturday, Nov. 5, the football tailgating party will begin at 10:30 a.m., and will last until kickoff at 12:30 p.m.  On Saturday, Nov. 12, the fun starts at 4 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m. when the Hurricanes game begins.

“Considering the level of excitement and anticipation we’ve heard about Inside Wade, we thought it was only fitting that we extend our grand opening celebration to two weekends,” said Lennar Raleigh Division President Trish Hanchette.  “In addition to enjoying the family-friendly tailgating party the first two Saturdays in November, visitors to Inside Wade can tour our seven architecturally designed, beautifully decorated model homes.”
