Dr. Robin Schwarz Presents: Teaching Emerging Literacy to ELL Students

Oct. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Reading Horizons will be hosting a free webinar on November 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM MST presented by Dr. Robin Schwarz Lovrien. Dr. Schwarz Lovrien will discuss strategies and resources that help teachers meet the needs of non-literate ELL (English Language Learners) students.

Dr. Schwarz Lovrien is an adult ESL and learning difficulties consultant. Lovrien has completed extensive research in the field of ELL and learning disabilities. Dr. Schwarz Lovrien has been widely published in the field of teaching literacy to adult ELL students as well as adults with learning disabilities.

Dr. Schwarz Lovrien's presentation will focus primarily on teaching ELL students that are non-literate in their native language. Teaching non-literate ELL students requires a different approach then teaching ELL students that are literate in their native language. Dr. Schwarz Lovrien will provide the best approaches and resources for helping these students.
