Family Jewelers in Marlton, N.J., Expands with New Boutique

Oct. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- MARLTON, N.J. – While many retail stores are struggling to just pay the rent in this difficult economic climate, a fortunate few are thriving, and even undergoing expansion.  Case in point: Family Jewelers at Plaza 70 in Marlton, which this week opened 110 new square feet of sales space.  

In conjunction with the opening of its new Pandora Jewelry boutique-within-a-store, the 74-year-old retailer – of which the last 40 years have been at its current location – gave away a 50-inch flat screen TV to a lucky customer, Nancy Robinson of Indian Mills.

“Pandora is one of the best-known names in jewelry, and while we’ve sold this line in the past, we’re excited to open up an entire boutique and give our discerning clients access to a much broader range of products, in a distinctive environment,” says Angelo Breaux, owner of Family Jewelers.  “At the same time, we’re grateful for the tremendous support of the community, so it’s a treat to be able to present this flat screen television to our winner.”

Growth is nothing new to Family Jewelers.  In 2005, the shop virtually doubled its space to about 3,200 square feet when it acquired an adjacent store front.  The new Pandora boutique only adds to the floor space.

The gleaming, all white décor of the Pandora boutique sets it apart from the rest of the store, and serves to highlight the manufacturer’s distinctive line of hand-finished, modern and often gem-encrusted jewelry.  

Family Jewelers will host a wine and cheese party to celebrate the opening of the new Pandora Boutique on Nov. 18, from 5-8 p.m., Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Nov. 20, from noon to 5 p.m.  Customers and the entire community are invited.
