PRLog -- The Occupy Wall Street Movement has gained popularity over the past few months in Philadelphia, and Haul-Out recently attempted to show our support to the local protestors! Our team, after Hauling Out a large sofa, tried to donate the item to the protestors Occupying Market Street. Our guys figured after “making a stand” all day, they deserved to have a seat. One of our guys was quoted saying “it might be easy for the law to push around a protestor, let’s see how easy THEY think it is to push around a sofa.” The protestors were enthusiastic about the offer, but the local law enforcement interrupted the exchange and sent our team on their way. At Haul-Out we are committed to finding ways to show our support as part of the 99%. We are not a part of corporate America. We are a small, locally owned and operated business made up of individuals that share in feeling the injustice of a strained economic system. We offer our affordable haul out services to those members of the community that do not have the time or means to remove their unwanted items, which accumulate over time for all individuals of all classes. We are a collective group of working-class individuals that want to provide a great service, and develop interpersonal relationships with our customers based on mutual trust. Haul-Out strives to donate or recycle at least 70% of the items we remove. Our employees are hard workers and appreciated as members of the Haul-Out family. We do not work to make a profit, we work to challenge expectations.
