Billy Hyatt Brightens The Elephant Groove

Billy Hyatt transports Kristin’s “Soul Mates” to a modern day Stevie Wonder style funk tribute, reminiscent of a seventies style production.  Billy brings a familiar manner to the sound founded by Motown.

In the title track “Miracles”, Billy Hyatt creates using a funky bass riff in a contagious rhythm scheme that conveys the song with an energetic color and feel, bringing Kristin’s exceptional songwriting into undying excellence.   “Miracles” includes Billy’s unique and velvety vocals as back up support, which also provides diversity and distinction.

The Elephant Groove is the latest in Miss Kristin’s extensive catalog of music distributing mostly through social network channels along with independent college and public radio stations worldwide. This is the first time Billy Hyatt has had the opportunity to work with Kristin and Big Fuss Records.  The two met in the church music department and the melding of the two talents is an exciting contribution to modern music.
