a surprise for christmas by lizzy stevens
and what a surprise it is. wow what every single woman dreams of finding,
a baby on the doorstep to raise as your own. kinda reminded me of the baby in a basket
among the grassy reeds-a religious story.

this story a year later has upheaval as the father comes to find his daughter-not knowing the mother was pregnant.

magic happens and they fall in love to make it a memorable Christmas for them all.

I rate this a 5, it's just the right length and not too heavy, just a light story.

Lizzy Stevens’ short romantic fairy tale takes us to a world where babies appear out of the blue, adoption takes the mere flick of a pen and adorable men turn up on the doorstep. In angst-ridden reality, perhaps this kind of lightly spun confection is just what is needed from time to time. Heart-warming is a phrase that immediately springs to mind. A little bit of sugar to help the medicine go down.
