Oct. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Energion Publications announces the October 28, 2011 release of a new book, The Prayer Trilogy by new author, Kimberly Gordon. Set in the late 1800's in Colorado, it is the story of the Jenkins and Davidson families, one nearly starving on their farm and the other a prosperous business family in the city of Denver. Neither family perfect but both  rely on the power and comfort of prayer to pull them through times of struggle and heartache.

The three related stories in this book follow the history of the two families until the surprising and encouraging conclusion. Gordon creates characters who are believable and accessible. You'll feel that you know the characters in this story personally as they live out their faith in good and bad circumstances.

Although Prayer Trilogy ( is her first publication with Energion Publications, Kimberly has “hundreds” of stories in her notebooks and looks forward to sharing more with her growing group of fans.

Kimberly Gordon lives in a small town in what is called the Panhandle of Florida. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.

Kimberly started writing when her twins were just in diapers as a way "get out of the house and have a little adventure and excitement. I love writing and put everything in spiral notebooks because I didn't like the computer.”

Through her local church Kimberly is very active, especially in women's ministries with the message she brings of hope and inspiration. She and her husband make their home with twin teenage daughters.
