DPoet releases two new singles

DPoet is a hip hop artist that represents his town of Cleveland, Ohio.   In 2004 he started his independent record label and since that time has been focused on its success.  He believes he’s still in the growth stage and that he is evolving every day along with his music.  He worked with artists such as DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Kevin Cossom, YC and other major producers such as The Runners.  

DPoet has released two singles, “For the Streets” featuring DJ Khaled and “Yeah I Got Doe” featuring YC (aka Yung Chris).   These two singles are off the new CD “Motivated By Hate” which is set for release sometime in the spring of 2012.  

“For the Streets” represents people that come from the bottom and struggle.  “Yeah I Got Doe” says it all – it’s about making money.  These two songs are hard and to the point.  Both songs have a hard staccato that drives in the message loud and clear.  This type of hip hop creates a dramatic impact on the listener.  

The energy throughout the CD has a commonality to it.  It is very relatable, it is daring, provocative; the songs have a gripping effect.  They are composed, recorded and delivered with such great hip hop style whether it’s a playful song or a more serious one.  Every song that is written carry’s a message along with a great beat, great vocals a urban hip hop rhythm and class.  His songs inspire, motivates, brings hope and a pride in yourself that you may have not known you had.  

These two singles were released on September 1, 2011 to rave reviews.  
The message is loud and clear; DPoet is making an impact on the music industry and has brought forward true hip hop back to the airwaves,  Cleveland, Ohio style.
