Masters Conference Announces Steve Lines of SAIC as Keynote of 2011 Event

Sept. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Washington, D.C. - The Masters Conference, an advanced legal educational experience, today announced that Steve Lines, director of business continuity and information assurance at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) will be a keynote speaker its October conference. The theme for Masters Conference 2011 is “Security, Privacy and Compliance within Corporate Litigation,” and it will be held October 3-5 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. Lines will speak on Monday, October 3rd.  Mr. Lines will discuss the current state of cyber threats and how law firms and their clients may be impacted.  He will also share his insights on incident response relating to current technologies, notification obligations, and remediation.

Lines is currently director of business continuity and information assurance for SAIC. His team also received the Special CEO award for their forensic response to a data breach and preventing the exposure of sensitive information. In addition to being the vice chairman of the Network Security Information Exchange (NSIE), he recently founded and now chairs the Defense Security Information Exchange (DSIE) as a sub-council of the Defense Industrial Base Sector Coordinating Council (DIB SCC) representing more than 60 of the top defense contractors in sharing threat information within the DIB.
