Lloyds International Gold Update With Mike Simon

Sept. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- European debt concerns continued to help gold in todays session.

Investors have a strong focus on the two-day meeting of the fed which began today. It is widely expected that another stimulus package will be announced at this event. This will be bullish for gold and other safe haven investments and bad for the dollar.

Mike Simon, a Senior Broker at Lloyds International in Brazil shares the opinions of various of his broker colleagues. He says "We are gold bulls here at Lloyds. We made fantastic returns with our options trades as gold approached it's all time high and we have been buying again heavily in the recent pull backs."

He goes on to say "There is just too much bad economic news on the horizon for safe haven investments to do badly. Barclays, Deutsche Bank and others are expanding their facilities that hold gold, a sure fire sign that they fully expect the buying to continue"

Gold has gained 27% this year with it's little brother silver gaining 29%.
