Bedouin in Sinai Desert, Egypt
-- Explorers Connect is a growing nationwide network of adventurers, explorers and independent travellers. Each branch meets every 3 or 4 months and provides an opportunity to chat with like-minded people, share advice, get inspired and plan future challenges.
The Kendal branch will be getting together at 7pm on Weds 21 Sept at the Warehouse Café, Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal. The event is hosted by Dom Hall who runs Fieldskills, an Ulverston-based international expedition company. Dom says, “The Kendal network started up in May and we’ve so far had two really enjoyable evenings with lots of chat over a few drinks. It doesn’t matter whether people are experienced explorers and adventurers or have just started and want to get some ideas – everyone is welcome and it’s a free event.”
Dom continues, “I’m delighted to support Kendal Explorers Connect. As well as being able to come along to events like this, you can access news and information about adventure industry jobs and other events. There are also special offers, including a 15% discount for Kendal Explorers Connect members at Blacks outdoor shops. Our next event will be on 9th November and you can find full details on our website.”
