Zombie Coffee Press is Now Open and Ready for Submissions

Sept. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Zombie Coffee Press is a brand new ezine founded by T.M. Nienaber (author of 'The Price of Life').  We publish every Monday in a rather unique format.  Instead of a monthly publication or an every once in a while publication of multiple authors and stories we serialize all our short stories over several weeks depending on length.  We want to create the effect of an old time horror radio show, giving you a taste of what to come and then making you come back next week to see how things end.  The name Zombie Coffee was chosen because Mondays are (for most of us) the hardest day to get up and going, so this gives our readers something to look forward to every Monday.  All of our sections are just long enough that you can finish them during your coffeebreak, giving you a weekly dose of 'zombie-coffee' to jump start your Monday.  Occasionally we will publish poetry or artwork on different days of the week, giving you an extra shot of zombie coffee to get you through the week.

Zombie Coffee is calling for submissions from unpublished, new, and experienced authors and artists for upcoming issues.  We are looking for short stories between 2,000-20,000 words, flash fiction between 500-1,999 words, as well as poetry and art work.  We are not currently able to pay for publication but you will get some great exposure and the chance to add a publication or show credit to your resume.

Zombie Coffee was started in 2011, so this is our very first call for submissions, our goal is to give newer authors a chance to break into what is turning into a very competitive market and we at Zombie Coffee would like to give the new author a chance to have their work out there for the rest of the world to see.  We also believe that e-publishing is the way of the future, so we'd like to give authors the chance to break into a new readership.
