Grandview Corners Dental Takes the Lead in Supporting Local Surrey Teachers

Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Grandview Corners Dental, a popular dental clinic in Surrey, BC, is offering students a chance to give their favourite teacher something to smile about. The latest community-based contest is working to effectively promote oral health education in the local school system. Dr. Felix Zhang, Dr. Julia Ratkay and the team at Grandview Corners Dental are excited to help celebrate and support education, educators, students and families in their local community by offering incentives towards cosmetic or restorative dental procedures.

“We are excited to offer this token of appreciation for the huge efforts made by local teachers in our community,” says Dr. Zhang, of Grandview Corners Dental, “The Smile for Teachers contest was developed to increase oral health awareness while also demonstrating our huge appreciation for educators.”

Students are asked to contribute by describing how or why their favourite teacher has had a positive impact on their life.  All participants will receive a $25 gift certificate towards any cosmetic or restorative procedure by booking an appointment at Grandview Corners Dental in September or October.  From the testimonial entries, two outstanding teachers will be chosen as the winners of the “Smile for Teachers” contest. The winners will be treated to a private tour, photos and presentation on oral health at the Grandview Corners Dental practice in Surrey. On top of the contest, Grandview Corners Dental will be distributing coupons to local South Surrey School staff who can receive a generous $50 discount on any appointments booked during September and October.“With this campaign, we are hoping to promote an increased interest in oral health while also supporting the local teaching community.
