Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- APG will highlight its new team during a BRAC Completion Ceremony at the post theater beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The event will feature a symbolic flag ceremony to highlight the missions of incoming organizations as well as legacy organizations that have built APG’s reputation for successfully supporting Soldiers.

Eleven organizations have arrived at APG as part of the BRAC process.

At 11 a.m., the C4ISR Materiel Center of Excellence will bring closure to its relocation from Fort Monmouth, N.J., and other locations with a C4ISR Center of Excellence Dedication Ceremony in the campus courtyard.  This ceremony highlights the largest mission influx to APG from BRAC, acknowledges the tradition of C4ISR excellence created at Fort Monmouth, and celebrates the future of C4ISR.

C4ISR moved 7,260 employee positions, 120 laboratories, and 80,000 pieces of equipment to APG without any interruption to its support to Soldiers.  Fort Monmouth will hold a closure ceremony Sept. 13, when the garrison flag will be cased.

C4ISR organizations will exhibit a variety of Army communications equipment and technology in the campus courtyard as tangible examples of the world-class systems provided for the Soldier.
