We are also hoping this year is especially great because our Nathan and Owen are so special to our families and friends. Both of these children have had cancer and as the families of these two brave kids, we would like to his increase their efforts to help other people with cancer. Nathan is 10, and had been diagnosed with bone cancer in November of 2010 and is still fighting through his battle with cancer, where Owen was 2 years old back when he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Both these children have been so brave in facing their own fight that for them to help raise funds for the Relay has been extra commendable. You can visit http/www.nathansstory.com to see both of their stories. Please come out and support these families and this wonderful fundraising event at the Galena Vol. Fire Company and thank you for taking the time to hear of these commendable families and their stories.
