Integra Networks Strengthens Its Engineering and Development Team

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- LATHAM, NY – Integra Networks, Inc., a fiber optic equipment manufacturer located in New York’s Tech Valley, is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Donnelly to its Engineering and Development team. Integra Networks’ customer base has developed considerably over the past year, in turn establishing the necessity to increase its Engineering and Development Department staff. The addition of Tim to the Sales Engineer group, demonstrates Integra Networks’ continued growth in the fiber optic industry and confirms our commitment to not only maintain our promise of delivering low-cost quality equipment, but also upholding our industry reputation as an innovative company.

Tim holds over twelve years of professional engineering experience, the majority of which has been in the Telecommunications Industry. Prior to joining Integra Networks, Tim’s professional Telecom portfolio included such positions as the Senior Staff Network Consultant for Verizon IP Network Planning and most recently for CISCO Gold Partner, Shoregroup, as a Technical Assistance Center Supervisor. Tim’s areas of expertise include network planning, product implementation, purchasing, technical specification development and standards creation.

Tim’s major role at Integra Networks is that of a liaison between our customers and the Integra Networks Account Managers. Tim will be spending the majority of his time travelling with our sales team to customer locations nationwide, providing ‘on-site’ engineering support, live demonstrations and detailed technical specifications. In addition to providing this invaluable support, Tim is an integral part of Integra Networks’ Engineering and Development Department, developing engineering specifications and technical data for product documentation and publications, as well as performing coding, testing, certification and validation activities on Integra Networks fiber optic equipment.

Tim has lived and worked in the Capital Region for many years. He currently resides in Coxsackie and, in addition to working for Integra Networks; he finds time to manage his own business, Hot Harry’s Fresh Burritos Restaurant, located in Albany, NY.
