High School Students….Where Does Your Adventure Start?

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Where Does Your Adventure Start? As you sit in your High School classroom, cramming your head full of knowledge, getting questions from everyone in your life as to what you are going to do next and what you want to be, have YOU decided what do you want to do with your life? When you graduate, what do you have mapped out for your life? Are you going to go straight into the Armed Forces, college or a job? As I started preparing for my Big World Adventure, I listed out my strengths and skill sets that I knew would be beneficial in my volunteer and work efforts around the world - skills that cannot be summarized with a diploma. I then asked myself where I wanted my adventure to start.

If you had the funds to go anywhere and do anything for a year, where would you go and what would you do? I did that and came up with the adventure of a lifetime; all you have to do is follow and read to learn everything you have to do to prepare for such a journey. My Big World Adventure will be heading West around the globe, first to Asia, then Europe and finishing in South America.  Along the way I will be writing articles, posting videos and showing photos of my in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at each country and its culture.  I will be doing everything from modeling to teaching to farming. Sometimes it will be serious, other times you will see how goofy and funny the adventure can be!

I invite you to come along on the adventure and to share it with all of your friends. I WANT to share my experiences with you. I will be the one adult in your life who will be completely honest with you about how much hard work and planning it takes to make your dreams come true, but how rewarding it is when you get to experience it!
