The Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard is an interactive application used by organizations to share their sustainable building initiatives with building occupants and create environmental awareness to ensure everyone participates towards a more efficient building.  The application can display a building’s real-time resource savings and production to illustrate efficiency, and motivate viewers to engage in energy efficient practices.

The display can be used to educate about sustainability through a variety of interactive features like:  
•   Real-time resource to show how efficiently the building operates
•   Animated demonstrations to illustrate how sustainable features, like daylighting, conserve resources
•   A checklist which explains credits met to achieve LEED certification
•   Interactive quizzes or games make that learning about ‘being green’ more memorable
•   Green tips to show how everyone can be more sustainable

The educational tool can also help earn points towards green building certification programs, contributing towards satisfying the U.S. Green Building Council’s® Innovation in Design Green Education and Innovation in Design School as a Teaching Tool credits under LEED®, and a variety of points under The Green Building Initiative’s™ Green Globes® green building rating and assessment system.
