By: Jennifer Smiga New York City Soprano Performs at Middletown Arts Center to Benefit the Middletown Township Cultural & Arts Council Middletown, NJ (August 15, 2011) - Talented New York City soprano, Mary Langston, will take guests on a magical musical journey, performing classic to contemporary songs on Saturday, September 17th, 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. at the Middletown Arts Center's beautiful state-of-the- "We are very fortunate to have Mary Langston, a young woman with an extraordinary voice, donate her time and talent to benefit the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council," said Mary Pearson, President, Middletown Township Cultural & Arts Council. "The event promises to be a memorable evening for a great cause!" Since moving to New York City in 2009, Langston has performed regularly with the Opera Manhattan Repertory Theater. She has sung at Gizzi's Café, The Episcopal Actors’ Guild, Moses Mogilee Theater Company and The Rum House with singer/pianist Karen Brown. Her voice is featured in the musical score of the new, independent, short horror film, Clive Unger’s Madame X directed by Brian DeCicco. Mary was accepted and attended a vocal study program in Italy led by Michael Paul, whose students are on the rosters of many of the world's most renowned opera houses.
