Introducing Power Over Ethernet Enabled Panel PCs from IEI

Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- IEI Technology Corp. is proud to introduce two Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled panel PCs, the AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 and the ACT-457A-1250.  The AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 features an Intel® Atom™ Z510P/Z530P processor with speed up to 1.6 GHz. The ACT-457A-1250 is an RISC-based EM/Mifare access control terminal.  These two panel PCs are IEEE 802.3af/at compliant.  The IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standard ensures that 12.95W/25W of DC power is provided to each connected device.  PoE Technology safely transfers electrical power and data to remote devices over a standard Category 5e cable in an Ethernet network.

The fanless All-in-One AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 panel PC has a 5.7 inch VGA TFT touch panel LCD with LED backlight.  The compact size, PoE capabilities, and low power design make the AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 cost-effective and easy to deploy.  The AFL-057A-Z510/Z530 can be installed with minimal hassle anywhere an RJ-45 Ethernet jack is present including industrial, retail and home environments.

The ACT-457A-1250 is a RISC-based EM/Mifare access control terminal featuring a 5.7 inch TFT color touchscreen panel with full display interface.  The ACT-457A-1250 comes integrated with an RMI Alchemy™ AU1250 500MHz media processor that provides hardware decoding for MPE1/2/4, DivX and WMV9.  The built-in 2W speakers and microphone allow for bi-directional voice messaging, while a 300K pixel web-camera enables real-time imaging for video capture or facial identification.

All IEI Power over Ethernet panel PCs include IEI One Key Recovery software. This software allows users to easily create full system backup on demand as well as system restoration to a previously made backup after system failure.
