Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- BOSTON, MA – August 9, 2011 - Palladium Group, the global leader in helping organizations in helping organizations solve their most challenging strategy execution issues, and Harvard Business Publishing have released the report, Strategy Execution Champions: The Palladium Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame Report 2011. The report features overviews of the 20 organizations inducted into the Palladium Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame for Executing Strategy® in 2010, among the most geographically and industry-diverse group of winners in the Hall of Fame program’s eleven year history. Included are the Barcelona City Council, Cisco, the FBI, Hindustan Petroleum, The Hospital for Sick Children, and Merck & Co.

Hall of Fame winners are high-performing organizations that have used the Kaplan-Norton strategy execution approach to achieve and sustain breakthrough performance results, or “execution premiums.” Today, 160 organizations from public and private sectors throughout the world are members. The annual Hall of Fame Report highlights the organizations inducted in the preceding calendar year. Each profile notes the challenges the winner faced and how it achieved and sustains measurable breakthrough performance through its ability to successfully execute its strategy.

Achieving breakthrough performance in healthy economic times is challenging enough; the success stories in this year's report are a testament to the power of execution excellence in the most challenging of times. The 2010 inductees also reflect the growing importance of such Kaplan and Norton innovations as the Office of Strategy Management, StratEx (Strategic Expenditures), and strategic themes. The introduction provides useful context and data on the enduring power of the Kaplan Norton approach, and how organizations derive organizational, operational, and economic value from it over various time horizons.

“Strategy is important, but it’s the execution that counts,” says Robert L. Howie, Jr., managing director of Palladium Group, and director of its Hall of Fame program. “There is no better way to understand how high-performing organizations achieve results through a formal approach to executing strategy than by studying the cases in the annual Hall of Fame reports.”

The 2011 Hall of Fame Report (along with all seven previous editions) is available from Harvard Business Publishing at www.strategyexecutions.com.
