August 2, 2011 - Chicago, IL - Jim Osborne, Chairman of the 32nd ChicagoMSDC Scholarship Golf Classic Committee, along with ChicagoMSDC President/CEO Shelia Hill Morgan and ChicagoMSDC Director of Events Cynthia Jordan announced that Richard Dent, an MBE who was recently elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame will serve as the honorary chairman of this major fundraising event, Monday August 15, 2011.

Richard Dent is President of RLD Resources, LLC and has been certified since 2005.
He is a graduate of Tennessee State University and a former defensive end who played primarily for the Chicago Bears. He was MVP of Super Bowl XX and elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. In 1985, Dent and the Bears had one of the most spectacular seasons in NFL history.

The ChicagoMSDC Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships to minority high school and college students interested in a business career and an MBE stipend for Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business, NMSDC Executive Management Program.

The Golf Classic will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, IL.

This event has assisted hundreds of young entrepreneurs in their educational pursuits.
The coveted silent auction will include one-on-one meetings with C-Suite executives, electronics, autographed sports memorabilia, vacation and spa packages to name a few.
