July 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Jamison was in the Greater Boston Area to perform last Friday night in Saugus MA - to a Sold Out Crowd, the show was outstanding, the night prior he stopped by the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston and donated a Black Jacket that was worn while in the UK at a performance or performances in the 1990's as a Solo Artist at the request of the Hard Rock Cafe International Corporation, asking specifically for an item that would reflect Jamison while in his (still successful and prospering) Solo Career.

Having been in bands, and then breaking out on his own after several years to be recognized as an International Recording and Performing Artist is quite an honor, "to be known for your own work, voice, and for what you do that comes from your heart, is one of the greatest honors anyone can have."  States Jamison "I actually was blown away at the request, and it was a cool experience as when I arrived at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston with no announcement people recognized me and it was a lot of fun, the management and marketing people were great, I really love Boston and it was again not only an honor but a pleasure."

On Friday with the Wildfire Band opening, Jimi Jamison took the stage with his band and played to a sold out crowd.  "Everyone was on their feet when Jimi took the stage, Micky Ward and Tony DeMarco joined him right away as he started with Eye of the Tiger, got the crowd going with two hometown hero's on the stage with their friend and Rock Icon Jimi Jamison."  States Jeff Lawrence MC and On Air Personality WODS CBS Radio, Boston and The Mill, Manchester NH. He goes on to say "I see a lot of shows all the time and have never seen one man be able to take the stage and people gravitate as they do when Jimi takes the stage.  Never a papered show with Jimi always huge hard ticket sales in this area for him,he just blows me away every time"

Singing all of the hits you know and love, songs from his latest album Crossroads Moment which were huge crowd favorites, Jamison owned it Friday night - with his band comprised of local and talented musicians who just rocked the house.  After signing autographs to hundreds of fans and attendee's, taking the time to talk to them, and take pictures it made for a night to remember for all.   Numerous fans and people  already asking when Jamison is returning to the area, and emails from prospective buyers.

Presently Jimi is working on an album in Berlin with a group with two number hits under his belt in which he wrote and performs, "Tears in My Eyes," and "The Restless Kind." Jamison also has a duet album due out soon, with Ex Toto Bobby Kimball.   He is currently touring Worldwide to packed house's as a Solo Artist and recording as also.

7/21/12 Jimi is currently touring with Survivor still doing selective shows as a Solo Artist.
