Social Diary Daily Issues Two Checks to Assist SSI Recipients

The struggle may have just begun for many of the over 50 million SSI recipients. Social Diary Daily magazine announced today that as a brand that promotes human interest, they cannot sit around and wait for the answer to be "no" and "sorry".

July 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Those that are already struggling to make simple ends meet may feel the effects of more struggles if the government fails to meet its debt requirement. Millions of people may not receive their SSI Checks in August.

Social Diary Daily is a national brand that enforces human interests.” We can’t save the world from its financial crisis should this disaster happens, but we can show we care,” says CEO Melissa Russell. “By reaching out and helping as much as we can, we stand by our mission to put human interests first and all else aside.”

The government has not been able to provide definite answers as to whether it will be able to send out SSI checks in August. Because of this Social Diary Daily’s CEO, Melissa Russell continues, “We can’t sit around and wait on them to say no and sorry. We have put in place our own backup plan. We will issue two checks to two families that receive SSI and depend on it to survive.  Should the government say “No” we will already have two families covered. It may not be as much as they would normally receive from the government, but we hope it will help. Should the government say “Yes” then we will store it away for another financial rainy day.  Two people out of over 50 million may seem like a mere tear in a bucket, but for the two families that may receive this help, we’re hoping it will help.”

The economy and life itself affects us all. Social Diary Daily magazine recently lost one of its largest distributors, Borders Book Store when Borders announced it was closing its stores. Nevertheless, this has not stopped the people first attitude of the entire Social Diary Daily staff. In an emergency meeting earlier today, Mrs. Russell urged the importance of continuing to provide the best for the people.” We have to continue to meet the needs of our readers and continue giving them something they can use in this time,” Russell said.

Social Diary Daily features true life stories about people across the world.  These stories have had positive effects on its readers enabling them to become empowered and motivated to action. Each cover of the magazine is embraced with the founder of an organization or charity and the inside features a 6-8 page spread about such charity. A few of those  that were proudly featured in past issues have been Holly Robinson Peete and the HollyRod Foundation, Patricia Valesqeuz and the Wayaa Taya Foundation, Xernona Clayton and the Trumpet Foundation and Melissa Russell and her Paper Dolls Foundation.
