Freedom fighter’s sells all for 7 summit challenge

July 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The New York based delivery driver took the drastic step of selling everything he owned even though all his friends thought he was crazy to set off on this massive challenge.  The Seven Summits are the tallest mountain peaks of each of the seven major continents. Different lists include slight variations, but generally the same core is maintained throughout: Kilimanjaro, Tanzania 5895m, Mt Elbrus - Russia 5642m, Denali – Alaska 6198m, Aconcagua – Argentina 6962m, Mount Vinson – Antartica 4897m, Puncak Jaya – Indonesia 4884m, Mount Everest – Nepal 8848m.

Rudy commented “I had never done anything like this so I trained really hard.  I had some very personal reasons for wanting to do it,  not only to fulfil a lifetime dream of summiting all 7 summits and raise awareness of civil liberties, freedom defense and human rights issues, but also to challenge myself both mentally and physically.  I hope to raise funds for charities who support these issues all over the World”.
