What Not to Wear to the Beach

This article features this year's biggest "bikini don'ts". This article will teach you how to look your best in your bikini, as well as how to behave when your out in the sun.

July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- The majority of women may feel like they know the “bikini do’s”. However, this article is to educate you on matters just as important, the “bikini don’ts”. These are guidelines for how to be fashionable and how to behave in your bikini. These are a few of the most important rules when it comes to you and your bikini.
One important “bikini don’t” is bikini advertisements. You should always avoid bikinis that make you look like walking advertisements. You do not want to wear any bikini that may make you look like a spokeswoman for some company. Next, straps on a bikini can be very fashionable and sexy; however, your bikini should not be filled with tons of them. The only thing you may get from a crazy, maze-like bikini is a crazy, maze-like tan line.
Another “bikini don’t” is don’t wear those high heeled shoes you would wear to your favorite club with your bikini. This image may come off as a bit trashy, and it is very impractical. You should also be weary of the size of your bikini bottom. You should never wear a bikini bottom that doesn’t cover your bottom enough at a public beach. This notion also applies to tops. A too small bikini top is not flattering. Take the time to find a top that fits your body type. There are many retailers that offer separate bikini top and bottom sizes. Bikinis resembling lingerie are also considered not flattering and should be left for the bedroom.
There are also certain things that you should and shouldn’t do in your bikini. One thing you should not do is adjust your bathing suit in public. Your bikini can become uncomfortable or move out of place; however, you should only adjust it if you can do it secretly or behind a cover in order to avoid accidently exposing yourself to a stranger. In addition, don’t forget to wear your sunscreen. The sun can drastically damage your skin when you are out in your bikini. This may be one of the most important “bikini don’ts”. Walking around burnt and red in your swimsuit is very unadvisable. In order to keep your skin soft and wrinkle free you must not forget to wear sunscreen.
These guidelines will help you maintain a trendy, sexy beach look and attitude. These “don’ts” are also crucial for maintaining a classy beach persona. Following these rules will ensure a positive, sexy experience out in the sun in your bikini!
