July 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Dakota Women’s Clinic offers Ob-Gyn patient handouts on its website to support the needs of its patients in Mitchell, South Dakota. It understands the importance of providing patient handouts to improve clinical care and patient satisfaction. Dakota Women’s Clinic (http://www.dakotawomensclinic.com) now provides its patients with convenient, online access to women’s health resources on its own practice website.

Surveys have shown that U.S. adults frequently search online for patient handouts, but are frustrated by the large volume of health information they find from questionable sources. A majority of health consumers state that they would prefer to get that information directly from their own doctor. Unfortunately, a majority of physicians report finding it difficult to provide patient education during an office visit, and most medical practice Websites lack health information. Dakota Women’s Clinic joins other Ob-Gyn practices that use the “From Your Doctor” service from Vivacare to manage their women’s health patient handouts (http://www.vivacare.com).

The friendly and knowledgeable staff of Dakota Women’s Clinic are both efficient and caring; creating a pleasant and comforting clinic experience for their patients. They cherish their personal relationships with their patients, many of whom are friends and neighbors. Dakota Women’s Clinic offers a wide range of services including: yearly wellness exams, preventative care, pre-conceptual counseling, obstetric care for low and high risk pregnancies, contraceptive management, IUD insertions and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement.
