Seattle-based Trouble Brothers, LLC has two successful iPad and iPhone games, Cargo Runners and Wizard Hex. Each game adheres to the ‘Brothers’ enthusiasm to reinvent the board game experience in a whole new environment. Cargo Runners is a critically acclaimed traditional board game adventure where players travel the world in cargo ships competing to deliver valuable contracts. Wizard Hex is their modern classic token-based strategy game similar to Chess or Go. Each game has a dedicated fan base of gamers who are enjoying the high quality graphic design and original gameplay mechanics.

Wizard Hex, which has been available since January, has just released a major new game update. Wizard Hex is a true strategy game, for 1-6 players, played in exciting 5-10 minute matches. Trouble Brothers has taken advantage of Apple’s Game Center platform to provide Online Multiplayer access; enabling players from around the world to compete against one another. Additionally, Wizard Hex is now equipped with Voice Chat allowing players the option to talk with one another during their matches.

Cargo Runners, released over the July 4th weekend with Online Multiplayer access, was selected along side Oprah’s iPad App as one of Apple’s New and Noteworthy releases. Where there are more than 100,000 Apps, Cargo Runners first-week sales cracked the Top 100, a significant achievement for any game, particularly from an independent developer such as Trouble Brothers. The ‘Brothers’ have just released the first, of several, planned game updates adding improved play randomization and easier to understand rules.

Trouble Brothers has just posted a fun video Trailer highlighting the action that awaits new players. Along with the clever trailer, the ‘Brothers’ have also posted a full length Gameplay Video to help players understand some of the unique game strategies that occur as you travel around the globe. Cargo Runners games typically last around 20-40 minutes, the perfect length for iPad users.

Every Monday, from 7-midnight P.D.T., players from around the world can log on at TroubleBrothers.com to find safe, quick and consistent access to other iPad and iPhone users and their games. Keep posted for further information about Trouble Brothers next release: a trivia challenge called Match-O-Matic.
