Why purify transformer oil? Maybe the first question should be, “why is it important to have purified oil in a transformer?”  Dissolved gasses in transformer oil can cause arcing, corona discharges, and overheating–reducing the electrical efficiency and lifetime of the transformer. Likewise, water contamination at levels as low as 30 ppm (parts per million) can adversely affect the insulating strength of the oil. With ever-increasing standards for energy efficiency of power distribution transformers, the need to effectively degas will become even more important in the future. particles contamination will also affect the function of insulating oil. So we need to clean used transformer oil.

Zhongneng series ZYD Double-stage vacuum Transformer oil purifier plant/ oil Filtration/ oil purification/ oil treatment/ oil recondition is designed for the following application:

I. Series ZYD Double-stage vacuum Transformer oil purifier machine is mainly used for purifying the insulating oil, transformer oil, mutual oil, switch oil, dielectric oil and so on.

II. Series ZYD Double-stage vacuum Transformer oil purifier machine adopts the double stages vacuum system, which can improve the machine working vacuum value highly, so it can remove the water, gas and impurities in transformer oil high-efficiently, increasing and maintain the oil's dielectric strength higher, make sure the electric device running safely.

1. Gas content less than 0.1%
2. Impurity size less than 1μm without free carbon
3. Oil dielectric strength (breakdown voltage) more than 75KV
4. Acidity value less than 0.01 mgKOH/g
5. Dielectric loss factors at 90℃ less than 0.001

7. Adopt interlocked protective system, which connect oil pump, heater and liquid level sensor, avoiding blank heating, blank pumping, oil leak and electricity leak. If there is any fault, machine will be power off automatically.
8. Functions of live line work onsite, vacuum drying and vacuum oil filling.
