Savannah Advertising Federation Presents Club Awards

July 5, 2011 - PRLog -- SAVANNAH, GA – The Advertising Federation presented their Silver Medal Award to Gail Eubanks of Savannah Technical College at the organization's final luncheon before summer break on June 22, 2011.  The silver medal is the highest honor awarded by AAF, and recipients are nominated by club members based on contributions to their company, creative ability, general advancement of advertising and contributions to the community.

Dina Stoneking of Memorial University Medical Center was honored with the Hadley B. Cammack Award for outstanding service to AAF Savannah, for promoting the cause of advertising and excellence in advertising in any media.

"It was a great honor and a total surprise" said Eubanks, past president for AAF Savannah and tasked with running one of the most successful ADDY Awards events to-date, which is the organization's annual signature event.

AAF Savannah also installed a new Board of officers for 2011-12 including, President: Karl Strauch, Coastal Marketing Group;  Secretary and Community Service: Dina Stoneking, Memorial Health; Treasurer: Kim Herrington, SCAD; PR and Social Media: Cathy Rodgers, Seven Waves Marketing; Web Developer: Michael Rivera;  Membership: Parla Brigman, Thomas & Hutton;  District Liaison:  Meg Albertson, JCB; Programs: Judy Bean, Freelance Creative Director; Student Liaison: Leigh Thomson, Letr & Co.; Historian: Stacy Jennings,Savannah Morning News; VP/Fall Conference Chair; Melanie Smith, E2 Marketing
