July 1, 2011 - PRLog -- To announce the publication of his new short story collection “Little Shivers”, author Gregory Blair has decided to let his audience have a say.  Readers will be able to vote for their favorite story and the winner will be announced on his Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, and his blog page.

Mr. Blair had his earlier, Stonewall Award winning novella "Spewing Pulp" published in paperback and he made appearances to promote it.  Because “Little Shivers” is only coming out as an ebook, that more traditional reading tour won’t be happening.  But Mr. Blair says he likes real audience feedback.  “If a professional critic likes my work, that’s great,” he admits.  “But hearing what the general audience has to say is so much more valuable and meaningful to me.”

So Blair is inviting all his readers to voice their opinion as to which story they like best.  Readers can go to his website (http://www.2writers.com/GregoryPress.htm) and find a link to answer the poll. “In every anthology, there’s always one story that really hits home,” Blair says.  “And it’s different for everyone.  So I’d be interested to know what the popular choice would be.”

Blair says he intends to leave the poll up indefinitely.  He says he’ll be interested to see if the favorite changes over time.  “I’ll post the winner for this year, but the poll will go on, cumulatively collecting votes each year thereafter.”

“Little Shivers”, a collection of short horror fiction, is available at Amazon.com
and BarnesandNoble.com .  Read it and then go vote for your favorite story today!
