June 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Textnomics™ Inc presented ResumeTuner™ in SVASE’s 2011 Launch Silicon Valley on June 7th at the Microsoft campus in Mountain View, CA. Textnomics, Inc. was one of 30 presenting companies selected from over 300 applicants, and ResumeTuner was included in the Next Generation Internet category.

Textnomics, Inc. presented ResumeTuner, the company's first product, currently in the beta testing phase.  ResumeTuner is based on years of research in data mining, machine learning and natural language processing. ResumeTuner allows candidates to tailor their resume to individual job postings, using the key phrases from each job Ad. "In effect, we synchronize meaning between the job ad and resume, which allows candidates to help recruiters find them," explains Dr. Esfandiar Bandari, the CEO of Textnomics™, Inc.; "This is why every recruiter and career coach recommends writing targeted resumes."

SVASE Launch was held on June 7th at the Microsoft Campus in Mountain View, California. The event provided a platform for select startups to present their products to “an audience of VCs, Angels, Corporate Executives, Bloggers, Press & TV Cameras”. The speakers included Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, Scott Case (Startup America), Guy Kawasaki (Garage Ventures) and Dan’l Lewin (Microsoft).
