BNI Miami-dade Wins Several Impressive Honors During National Conference

June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- MIAMI - BNI Miami-Dade, the regional franchise of BNI, the largest networking organization in the world, was honored at the BNI U.S. National Conference in Providence, Rhode Island May 20 with several awards of distinction:
•   Largest Average Chapter Size (32.8 average)
•   Highest Net Growth of Chapters (8% growth)

In addition, BNI Miami-Dade chapter “BNI Accelerators” earned the Hall of Fame Award, which is given to BNI chapters that have more than 35 members as of their charter date.  Adam Max, Area Director and Director of Training, was the recipient of the Hall of Fame Award for being the Area Director who led the efforts for BNI Accelerators.

With more than 1000 members, BNI Miami-Dade hosts weekly meetings for its 30 chapters in Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Brickell, Kendall, Coconut Grove, Aventura, North Miami, Doral, Dadeland, Pinecrest, South Miami and Homestead. Last year, BNI Miami-Dade passed 53,000 qualified referrals generating $40 million in member-to-member business.

Other achievements included BNI Miami-Dade’s John Sklavounos, Area Director & Director of Technology, named to the Global BNI Connect Task Force. In this role, John will interface with nine key leaders from around the world, on ways to improve the service, design and delivery of the new BNI Connect global integrated web platform.
