Tino O’Brien tucks into healthy muffins

June 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Earlier on in the year, the former Coronation Street star Tina O’Brian who played teenage mum Sarah Platt was looking lean and slender thanks to a strict new exercise regime. The soap star was taking part in the hit ITV reality show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, and had lost weight and toned up.
However, the down to earth lass knows that she doesn’t need to deprive herself of sweet treats and still indulges in some of life’s little luxuries.  Tina and daughter Scarlett, whose father is Tina’s former Corrie co- star Thomas Ryan- who played her on screen husband Jason Grimshaw- visited a cake shop in Manchester and both devoured a number of healthy muffins and gluten free muffins.
A passerby said that Tina ate her healthy chocolate cake quickly, and seemed to enjoy every crumb. She spent some time at the Hey Little Cupcakes counter deliberating which tasty cake to choose, and opted for a chocolate cake which was decorated with brown icing and white chocolate sprinkles.
The TV star who is currently playing Bex Fisher in BBC drama Waterloo Road was in great shape last year as she danced herself trim. However, it seems that she has failed to stick with her strict diet and exercise routine, as her figure was somewhat fuller compared to this time last year.
A fellow customer at the eatery told a national newspaper ‘She’s clearly filled out a little since she wore a black catsuit for her Grease routine on Strictly,’ ‘But she still looked stunning – and Scarlett was having a great time’
