FTS Named to Business Leader Magazine’s Top 300 Small Businesses of the South

June 10, 2011 - PRLog -- FedTechServices (FTS) has been named one of the Top 300 Small Businesses of the South of 2011 in Business Leader Magazine. Business Leader Magazine features businesses from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and south Florida, providing up-to-date information on “local business intelligence.” FTS will be honored for this award during a ceremony held on June 21st and will be featured in Business Leader Magazine.

Business Leader Magazine selected the top 300 small businesses based on three factors: revenue growth, business achievement, and community achievement. Revenue growth reflects the amount of growth in the company over the last year and the last five years, business achievement reflects the number of years in business and its impact on the economy, while community achievement reflects the company’s efforts in bettering the community.

FTS has seen dramatic growth since its inception in 2008. FTS’ first contract was with U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), providing network solutions by implementing Theater Network Management Architecture (TNMA). In 2010 FTS developed TNMA 2.0, a tactical version of TNMA, which was procured by U.S. Forces - Afghanistan (USFOR-A).

FTS has recently opened an international branch in Canada, and plans to move beyond government contracts to the private sector. FTS is also active in community service, having participated in Habitat for Humanity this last November, while FTS’ president, Jocelyn Noble, helps with the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce’s KidSafe program, which makes the internet safer for children.

Business Leader Magazine’s Top 300 Small Businesses of the South event will begin at 6 pm and includes a dinner and an awards ceremony. Noble looks forward to attending.
