Legal 500 Recognizes Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp for Elite Intellectual Property and Tax Practices

June 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles – June 20, 2011 – Legal 500, the widely respected series of guides that review the strengths and strategies of law firms in more than 90 countries worldwide, has recognized the national Intellectual Property/Copyright Practice and the West Coast Tax Practice of Los Angeles-based law firm Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp (MS&K).
   The editors of Legal 500 decided to bring back the category of Intellectual Property/Copyright for the 2011 edition, after a two-year absence from the guide, and MS&K’s national practice was promptly honored in Tier 2.    Legal 500 also recognized MS&K within its Domestic Tax: West Coast section in Tier 4. In its assessment of the firm’s tax practice, the guide notes that MS&K’s tax team has “an excellent reputation for entrepreneurial support and a particularly developed niche in the entertainment sector, intellectual property, and trust and estate tax.” The editors specifically recognized Los Angeles partners David Wheeler Newman, who heads up the practice, Allan Cutrow, Jeffrey Davine and Robert Lowe.
