Major Construction Projects Recognised At Industry Event

Alliance Contracting IQ, the nation’s network for professionals involved in alliance partnerships and projects, announced the winners for its annual Alliance Contracting Excellence (ACE) Awards.

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Presented during the Collaborative Contracting Excellence Summit, the awards recognise excellence and best practice in Alliance contracting partnerships. Alliance Contracting IQ Director, Jacqueline Bran, said “winners demonstrated exception delivery of larger scale construction projects and effective commitment to extracting the best value for money in their developments.”

The awards were judged by an independent panel of industry experts. Judges include representatives from the Sugarloaf Pipeline Alliance, VicRoads and the State Water Corporation.

Excellence in Capital and Major Project Alliances

Winner: Wyaralong Dam Alliance
Participants include: Queensland Water Infrastructure, ASI Constructors, SMEC, Wagners Quarries, Entura, MacMahon and Rizzo Australia

Honorary Mention: Springvale Road Rail Alliance
Participants include VicRoads, KBR, John Holland, Metro Trains and ARUP

Excellence in Maintenance, Services and Operations Alliances

Winner: Networks Alliance
Participants include: Sydney Water, Lend Lease, CLM and Veolia Water
