The Samsung Experience in New York City is proud to present 'Getting Healthy with Ta'Nia & Coach Wess', a wellness show with a focus on heart health. The show will be taped at the Samsung Experience (Time Warner Building) on Monday May 16th at 6:30PM
 
May 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Come join us for the premiere event & LIVE taping of Samsung Experience presents: Getting Healthy with Ta'Nia & Coach Wess.

The show will introduce the journey of Ta'Nia Doe, Founder of Love Her Heart, from being at high risk for a heart attack to getting heart healthy, while teaching others to do the same. Coach Wess Murray, guest on the Dr. Oz Show & CEO of Essentially Fit, shares his expertise in weight loss & fitness, and together they create a fun, cool path to health and wellness.

The show will also feature wellness correspondent Kim McCray, NY Green Smoothie Diva, who will demonstrate how to get those recommended servings of fruits & veggies into your daily diet. She will share quick, easy recipes for delicious nutrient-packed smoothies that energizes the body.

In addition, our premiere event will feature members of The Go Red for Women Committee, and an expert panel that specialize in the heart health field. Our hosts will be conducting a discussion panel on heart disease in women, heart health, fitness & nutrition and overall wellness.

Dr. Terri Kennedy is a health, productivity and empowerment expert providing practical advice for a successful life. As Ambassador & National Spokesperson for the American Heart Association and National Spokesperson for the American Stroke Association, as well as President of The Living Well Institute, she has been in the media from CNN to Oprah’s book “Live Your Best Life!” In 2009 Dr. Kennedy was named a young global leader by the World Economic Forum. Dr Kennedy will be joining us fresh off the Newark Peace Education Summit stage, where she is a guest speaker this weekend with notable world leader, Dalai Lama.
