J. Lyonz releases "Boom (Shaka Locka")

J. Lyonz was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia.  He exposed himself to hip hop music at an early age.  He craved to be the center of attention and this path was made for him.  He began playing keyboard at the early age of 5, mimicking producers and rap in a microphone but it was at the age of 11 where he decided to actually pursue rap as a serious career.  He began to gather what he thought he would need;   boom box, tape recorder, radio dig and soon after, he began to create his identity and developing his craft.   He began this journey the old fashion way – giving his music away to friends and finally word began to spread across the entire neighborhood within days.   He received great encouragement and feedback that boosted his moral.  He began performing at high schools’ open mic nights and found the crowd’s reaction to be nourishment for his soul.   Now with the release of his newest mixtape “Unstable MindFrame”, his fan base is eager to hear what juicy tunes he has on this compilation.  

J. Lyonz newest single “Boom (Shaka Locka)”  is off of his mixtape which was produced by J. Lyonz from Mr. Lyonz Products.   You can easily see his unique styling as he becomes one with the music and the mic.  This song is about doing what you love to do all the time.  It was released on April 12, 2011 and the CD “Welcome to Da Lyonz Den” which will be released in June, 2011.    The entire CD gets you pumped up.  This song is representative of the entire CD due to its arrangement and the emotional and relatable content.  It’s a feel good song that makes you want to hear more.  There is nothing typical about his music.  It’s an adventure, so you better buckle up because you’re in for a ride of a lifetime.

The new CD “Welcome to Da Lyonz Den” is set for release in both its digital format along with physical.  Prior to this new upcoming CD J. Lyonz released “Organized Destruction” mixtape with his group G.N.I. but as a solo artist he had “Eat My Album 1” under his prior name of J. Hussle.  

J. Lyonz has taken the time to learn how to truly express his thoughts in a way where his audience could relate to what he’s saying.  He listens to all types of music for inspiration which creates imagination.  

He is planning a tour as soon as he starts to get his music out to the masses.
