The Great Eastern Hotel, Adelaide selects Vectron's Hospitality POS System

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The Great Eastern hotel in Adelaide Hills hosts a mix of real ale drinkers and race enthusiasts. Adjacent to the famous Oakbank racecourse, this busy pub needed a new POS system to streamline everyday operations.

The landlord, Mark Chapman selected Vectron's POS system for it's ease of use, flexibility and local presence in Adelaide.

Their Pub POS system was selected for installation throughout the hotel. A diverse operation with a bar, dining room, poker machines, function room and bottle shop,  Vectron’ s POS could integrate every business area into one cohesive management system.

Overcoming everyday operational challenges was an essential condition to running the pub successfully.   Fast intuitive touchscreen terminals were installed throughout the venue. Easy to learn, staff training is kept to a minimum and wait times reduced with one step onscreen ordering.

Menu changes and stock additions were simple to do, keeping up with the hotel's large inventory. Fully configurable all menu screens, business processes and reports could be designed to exactly match the hotel's operations.  A full suite of reports highlighted daily trends and any weaknesses.

Within weeks of being enlisted, Vectron’s Adelaide team delivered an integrated POS solution bespoke to the pub. They worked though all of aspects of the installation, from touchscreen layouts through to staff training, ongoing maintenance and support.
