May 10, 2011 - PRLog -- David Martin Anderson will be signing his latest novel, THE LAST GOOD HORSE, at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Des Moines, Iowa (West Des Moines - Jordan Creek Mall) on Saturday, August 6 at 2:00PM, it was announced today by ConRoca Publishing. "We're so pleased that this collaborative effort with Barnes & Noble continues into the great state of Iowa. It will be the last stop on Dave's twenty-store tour," commented ConRoca Publishing's Editor-in-Chief, Kevin Abreu. "Iowa is where Dave grew up in the 1950s and 1960s. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968 with his wife, Mary. We anticipate that between his family and childhood friends, this event will be both a celebration of the book and an end to an epic journey," Abreu observed. "We now have fifteen B&N stores as part of the two-month tour. 'The Last Good Horse' is truly an exceptional epic novel. Sales should flourish at all of the locations where Dave will be stopping."  Anderson's latest novel (historical fiction set in 1939) deals with the slaughter of Montana's last mustang herds. It has won rave reviews and national endorsements. The novel was a 2010 finalist for the William Faulkner-Wisdom award and has been nominated for an IPPY award for best historical fiction of 2011. The book is distributed by both Baker & Taylor and Ingram, and is available at all book retail outlets and at Amazon (ISBN 9781892617163) in both Paperback and E-book versions.
