NHS Bolton are not playing games

May 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Yet another first for FDC - they are now working alongside the NHS Bolton to produce a series of online games aimed at the younger generations. They want to engage with the children by creating a collection of games which will be fun as well as educational.

FDC were in a long list of potential candidates to take the project, but once again the Leicester based design agency pulled out all the stops to make themselves stand out. It was whittled down to just three agencies and FDC came through – their proposal was the most thorough and it encapsulated everything that the team at the NHS were after.

Sharon, from NHS Bolton said: “10 companies were on the table, they were from all over the UK and it was a really exciting time. We finally took it down to just three agencies and FDC were the one for us. Yes, the location wasn’t as close as we would have liked but location isn’t such an important factor in these modern times.

“We felt that the team at FDC understood what the brief was and certainly got to grips with a concise plan, we were very impressed. Everything that they offered captured what we were after and they incorporated a very child lead approach, in the end it was a no brainer.”

FDC Account Manager Dean Joy is relishing the prospect of working with such a big name, he said: “Everyone at FDC is really happy we have had the chance to work with such a well-known name. It felt as though everything was against us at the start, there were a lot of good design agencies fighting alongside us and although we weren’t the closest agency in terms of location, what we had to offer really appealed to them, we are all looking forward to seeing the finished product.”

It seems that FDC keep on surprising everyone, after a successful year in 2010, they do not seem to be content with stopping now. It just goes to show that the Leicester based design agency are continuing to prove their worth amongst the other UK based design agencies, and both the NHS in Bolton and FDC are looking forward to seeing the finished project.
