New Sci-Fi Comedy Web Series Wraps Season 1

May 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Hocus Focus Productions introduced a new web series this year, "The Simplest Things".   The show is part of the larger blip tv channel, "The Weird World of HFP", which rotates several web series throughout its programming.  "The Simplest Things" is currently the only fiction series in the mix.

"The Simplest Things" chronicles the adventures of Pratt, an alien stranded on Earth after an abduction goes wrong.  Pratt, being from another world, seems to have trouble figuring out the things we take for granted on Earth, like toilet paper and doors.  In fact, "Alien Doors" was a short film that spawned the entire series and eventually became "Episode 2" of the show.

With six completed episodes scattered throughout the first 20 of "The Weird World of HFP", the little sci-fi series has wrapped its first  season.  In a two part episode we find that Pratt's call for help goes terribly wrong and his signal may have caused more trouble than anyone could have predicted.  The final show is a cliffhanger and season two promises to chronicle "Pratt's Adventures in Time".

"It's going to be great," says the show's producer, writer, director and star, Jason Liquori.  "Pratt already had trouble on Earth, but now he'll be dealing a bit with history, and pre-history, too.  There will be dinosaurs!"
