May 3, 2011 - PRLog -- It was an interesting series of three events in 2009 that led Wolf to the idea that started Three Sisters' Marketplace – a family vacation to Monument Valley, a 4th grade field trip to an organic farm and a dinner party with family and then there it was - Three Sisters' Marketplace!

Wolf’s inspiration came from the people closest to her - artisans in her family, her friends and neighbors who created beautiful pottery, hand-knit sweaters, and fine jewelry as well as unique sculptures and paintings. Artisans found it was a challenge to justify the expenses of maintaining art galleries and art stores or carting delicate items to and from art exhibits and craft shows. Wolf thought it would be easier to create a platform online to showcase items and create a fun online art community exchange.

The Artisans also have to pass a Jury to keep a high quality standard on the site as well. Shoppers also enjoy conveniences of a one-stop check out, even when purchasing from more than one Artisan. All of this built around fun – people can connect on Three Sisters' Marketplace by Becoming a Fan of an Artisan, writing Reviews, Rating and even listing events on the Events Calendar – all to keep the human connection alive.

Three Sisters Marketplace is a family business. Wolf is a wife, mom, artist, sales person, marketer and leader who is now using the skills she’s honed to launch a dream. The purpose is to bring the ‘Main Street shopping experience online.”  Three Sisters’ Marketplace is a people connector that satisfies the needs of everyone in the mix and that also allows everyone to have fun in the process.  

Art has always been a cornerstone in Wendy Wolf’s life.  Growing up in New Jersey, Wolf was always involved in various art classes at the neighborhood community center and formal Art Schools where she explored every medium. At Temple University, in Philadelphia, Wolf continued to explore art while also learning more about another one of her passions – the sciences.  She ultimately earned a degree in Journalism and Advertising - “balancing the strengths of both the left and right sides of her brain”, as she puts it. Entering the working world in sales, Wolf’s creative side allowed her to stand out from the crowd and succeed in tough industries. Wolf started in copier sales, but spent the majority of her career in pharmaceuticals.  Throughout her successful 16-year career in Bio-Pharma and Pharma as a Sales and Marketing leader Wolf’s entrepreneurial spirit was always driving her to do more – and then finally the stars aligned.
