By: Marsha Berenson, WOCNCB Marketing Manager Ms. Dickinson, employed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas as a senior research nurse in urology, became a Certified Continence Care Nurse (CCCN®) in 2004. She currently serves on the Continence Promotion Committee and the Urodynamics Committee for the International Continence Society (ICS),and as urodynamics course director for the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA). “The WOCNCB could not be more pleased that Tamara is being honored with this prestigious award,” says Diana L. Gallagher, MS RN CWOCN CFCN CHT, president of the WOCNCB. “The CCCN credential validates the knowledge, skills and experience required by the continence care nursing specialty.
