PRLog -- Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend, WA USA [May 13-14, 2011] – Builders, architects, structural engineers and timber frame enthusiasts are invited to attend the Timber Frame Business Council (TFBC) Trade Fair Expo. More than 300 timber framers from throughout North America gather to attend this biannual trade fair. Trade Fair exhibits include companies representing heavy timber suppliers, tool makers/manufacturers, fasteners, computer-assisted design software, wood finish products, etc. Join us at no charge at the Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend, WA on May 13 from noon to 5:00 pm or May 14 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Attendees generally include timber frame company owners and their staff, structural engineers and architects.
On May 13th the Timber Framers Guild (TFG) invites you to participate in their bi-annual slide show of timber frame projects from throughout North America. These presentations are engaging visual photos (and video) of unique timber frame projects being completed throughout North America (and internationally)
. The Timber Framers Guild also invites the public to their annual auction to be held on May 14th. Proceeds from the auction are used for scholarships and to reduce fees for timber frame workshops. Led by a professional auctioneer, items include timber frame paraphernalia, tools, art, jewelry and many more interesting items.
