North Wales Dragons will play the oldest football club in the world

Charity football team, North Wales Dragons will play the oldest football club in the world in the Anglo Celtic Shield Tournament, on 21st May. The Tournament will be followed by a charity Dinner that evening, with some special guests.
 
April 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Charity football team, North Wales Dragons will play the oldest football club in the world in the Anglo Celtic Shield Tournament, kicking off at 12pm on Saturday 21st May at Buckley Globe Way Stadium.

Set Saturday 21st of May aside in your diary as it promises to be a fun day for the whole family, packed full of football; activities for the whole family; with Food & Drink available to buy at the ground as well as commemorative tournament programmes. Come along and join in the fun, and show your support for these great and worthy causes.

The big tournament, which includes Buckley Town FC and Ayrshire Outsiders, is for four great causes. Chris Roberts founder of the North Wales Dragons and Manager said 'Innerframe, as a company has always supported charitable causes where we can. In two years, through our work with the North Wales Dragons, we've raised £5,000 for charity. It is our ambition and passion to match that through the tournament and the tournament dinner on the 21st of May.'

The Tournament will be followed by the Anglo Celtic Shield Tournament Dinner that evening starting at 7pm, Faenol Fawr, Bodelwyddan. With compèring duties being undertaken by comedian John Martin and a Q&A session with Roy Evans CBE (Former Liverpool Manager) the tickets are selling fast. Auction items include: a 2010 England shirt signed by David Beckham; a Wales football shirt signed by the full squad; and a t-shirt signed by Formula 1 Driver Mark Webber.

Also supporting Innerframe in the organisation and promotion of the event is Ysbryd y Ddraig, a local event management company.
Emma Davies, Creative Director of Ysbryd y Ddraig said 'I am pleased to be involved in such a great event and to show my support for four fantastic causes. Chris and his team have done a wonderful job, with high profile support and amazing auction prizes, I can't wait till the big day!'

There are still some tickets available, and it's not too late to donate raffle or auction prizes.
Other charities benefiting on the day include: Neves Charities; Clic Sargent Scotland; Buckley Town FC in the community; and Boots for Africa.
