| "Reserve Stash" Beer Dinner at Punk's Backyard Grill in Annapolis, MDPunk’s Backyard Grill to Host a “Reserve Stash” Craft Beer Dinner Featuring Six Fantastic Beers Chosen for Uniqueness and Quality
Each of the featured beers has been selected for its quality and uniqueness as well as its appeal as a special brew that beer lovers might set aside in a personal “reserve stash.” Executive Chef Dean Maupin of Punk’s Backyard Grill and Keswick Hall (Keswick, VA) will create and execute a food experience to pair with each beer. The dinner will start with a “cocktail hour” reception (featuring beer, of course) and will be followed by five dishes, including dessert. Representatives from Punk’s Backyard Grill and Dawson’s Liquors will introduce and discuss each of the featured beers as they are served. Below is the pairing menu: Passed Small Bites Brouwerij Contreras,Valeir Blond, Belgium, 6.5% ABV Hamachi Crudo with Lime, Avocado, Jalapeno and Golden Olive Oil Great Divide, Samurai Rice Ale, Colorado, 5.1% ABV Fried Green Tomato with Pimento Cheese, Pickled Red Onion and Arugula Brewer’s Art, Green Peppercorn Tripel, Maryland, 9.2% ABV Balsamic Grilled “Boneless” Tröegs Brewing Company, Flying Mouflan, Pennsylvania, 9.3% ABV Skewers of Beef Tenderloin with Scallion, Garlic Chips, Oyster Mushrooms and Spicy Szechuan Sauce Oskar Blues, Deviant Dale’s IPA, Colorado, 8.5% ABV Rhubarb-Strawberry Crisp with Whipped Devon Cream Lindemans, Faro Lambic, Belgium, 4.2% ABV “Punk’s is all about quality ingredients and made-from-scratch care, and we’ve picked beers that stand out as especially interesting and high quality beers that generate conversation,” Tickets for the event are $50 per person and guests must be 21 years old to attend.
