The Slide-Lok of Minnesota Polyaspartic Floor Coating System starts with diamond grinding the concrete floor. After that is complete, we repair any and all cracks, all spalling and any pop-outs that may be present and then grind a second time. A base coat is then applied to establish the bond between the concrete and the color coat. The color coat is applied to the base coat and while it is still wet, the vinyl, decorative chips are embedded. After the color coat has cured and the excess vinyl chips have been vacuumed up, a clear, top coat is applied. This is a full three coat system, not two like many applicators are putting down today to reduce price. In garage floor coatings there is a direct relationship between price and performance.
